A picture taken in a little lakeland shop. If you`re like me, 
you hate shopping - a male chauvinist ?  - So in these
circumstances I pass my time looking for pictures.

The light was catching the tray of cut glasses very nicely, but
I had  a cross screen filter in my bag,  and decided that  this 
was just  the right type of subject. I shot pictures with and 
without the filter and, I believe that this is the best.

I do travel light in such circumstances though,  and it is
unusual to have filters, other than a polariser, which I use A
LOT, in my lightweight bag.

The lady running the shop did look a little apprehensive, so I
explained to her that I was only an interested amateur
photographer, which settled her mind.
